Ratty cats and stick insects.........

Hi Sweet-peas the squirrels will be based in Sefton for the next week, Basil goes to the mechanic on Tuesday and its just lovely relaxing at Ma & Pa's.
My mums garden is just beautiful with all the flowers and trees saying hello to spring.
We are enjoying having two wee pussy-cats to play with and get a fur fix, even when "Liddy" is very unhappy about being picked up, look at that we furry wee face. Meow!!!!
"Ally" was a bit more friendly.
Natural history is also featuring in the garden,  "Stick insects" amazing big ones. Perfect for Warren to put on his Safari hat and play David Attenborough. As you can see I was a little bit of a scaredy cat.

Love V&W

  2. Ha, that is one grumpy cat! And good grief, look at the size of that stick insect, it's huge!
You are far too well dressed to want to tangle with the wildlife, leave that to Warren. Beautiful dress, Vanessa. How lovely to have a relaxing time with your parents while Basil gets sorted. xxx

  4. arg the size of the stick insect! i'm such a wuss, you are brave to be so close - love the face of grumpy cat, i think cats are so expressive, our new kitten is like kato from pink panther and regularly jumps on our older cat - he is a star however it his face i love (part resigned part 'really?') agree with others too your dress is beautiful, but i do love everything you wear! x

  5. awww, gorgeous cat- but he looks rather grumpy - they do demand to be picked up, then when you do they hate it. Such an amazing photo. The stick insect is huge!! though I'm only scared of spiders so it's not too awful.

  6. I used to keep stick insects as a child but they never ever got to that size, that is amazing. And your dress is gorgeous as always. I hope you have a fab time at your mum & dads and I hope Basil makes a full recovery xx

  7. Loving this first picture of you and Satan kitty, sorry all cats scare me a lil even my own. It's like I will never fully trust them ;) How nice to have a bit of a stand still at your folks and oh my that stick bug is the coolest, grossest most intriguing thing I have ever not seen in real life! Their back yard has to be magical if it has stick bugs in it!
