Happiness is a night out in the city....

OK sweetpeas this is the last photo's from Melbourne.
We both got dressed up and went out into the city for a nice meal out, well that was the plan.
The truth is the night was filled with dissappointment.
Oh well I did wear my lovely dressmaker made, vintage 50's PK fabric, blue with silver roses, pattern from a 50's style dress. Best part the fabric cost me $1.50 from Sallies. My hair was being good and went up well too. Not all lost.
Taking the good with the bad, becoming an expert.
Happiness is wearing a new dress.

  3. Gorgeous frock - you look beautiful, as always - was it a lousy dinner? So sorry it was a disappointing evening. Sarah xxx

  5. In these photos you're looking like a young girl going out to a dance school lesson. And young girls normally are cherishing great expectations in that. In my life I've learned: the more I expect, the more disappointing is the event. I hope you're fine and happy again. I only can say: You're looking very young and beautiful in these pics. Hugs from Germany, from a girl that has lots of experience in high hopes.

  7. Life's all about taking the good with the bad, isn't it? And a gorgeous frock is ALWAYS good. So is a beautiful smile and a well-behaved up-do! Hope your disappointment didn't last too long. xxxxxx
