The warmth of friendship..........

Hello Sweet-peas.....

Sorry for my absence from here........we have been busy with house/church-guests.
Its been a few days of feeling the warmth of friends around us....talking, eating, drinking and reminiscing about the past.

Our little home feels quite empty and lonely now.....

I think I will just be silent and snuggle down by the fire.

love V

  8. I love your beautiful home, the more because there's a fireplace in it, which I miss so badly in my home in winter. Your friends must have been very lucky to be able to stay in such a cosy place with you and Warren around them. It's always nice to talk about the past with old friends. Your grey and black outfit gets the right cheerful twist through that mustard scarf. Don't be too sorry that your friends were gone. I think you surely have some new friends near you too. At least I wish you happy hours with friends every day.

  9. I often wish we had rented a place with a fireplace but then it would cost more to run it. I do love the glow and warmth of a fireplace in the winter months.

  10. Your home is indeed a cozy snuggly place, but even more so now that it has sucked in all that glowing warmth from the good cheer it has hosted recently.

  13. Oooh don't you just love a wood-burner? We had been using ours back in Auckland too, thought it is nowhere near as cold there as it gets in Christchurch!
