I hope you sweet-peas have had a scrumptious weekend!!!!!
We have had a most fabulous weekend in the big city, "Auckland" with my brother and his lovely partner Esther. Sunday started with such excitement, after years of wanting to go to a vintage/retro fair in Auckland, we did!!! It was just so good, I was in love with so many things and they were all saying " take me home please"!!!!! The array of stalls meant there was something for every little treasure hunter and for every type of budget. I was in the end a very controlled little traveling squirrel finding a floral cotton nightie(with original 70's price-tag) which I will wear as a dress, blue polka dot house-coat, rose bakelite brooch, plastic Bambi brooch, ivory brooch, and my super duper favorite the green plastic butterfly brooch. Happy happy!!!!
After a lovely lunch we went up "One Tree Hill' to have a somewhat windy and panoramic view over the city, then it was off to the Art Gallery to see the very cool exhibition "Who shot rock & roll". What an incredible series of photographs, so many behind the scenes shots that showed a raw and fragile side to these famous musicians.
We were all so tired but filled with happiness after such a fantastic day.
Thanks Andy and Esther, love you guys!!!!
The travelers are now in Raglan for a few days.......
