A spot of treasure hunting.......

On Friday we went for a wee drive to Oxford to give Daisy-Boo a run. Now you can't go to Oxford and not go to the Budget Boutique. Its my favorite op-shop, run by lovely old ladies. As you can see I came out with a bag of goodies, happy happy!!!!

The gorgeous lady said the Kewpie doll was hers, I was happy to tell her she was going to a good home.  Look at the pretty dresses the doll had on, so excited to add them to my 50's doll dress collection. I also got a fabulous 50's girdle and a 60's bri-nylon pink slip. 

I was going to get dressed up today as a tribute to the wonderful "Queen" for her 60th jubilee, but I ran out of time. So here is a fabulous coronation breakfast tray, queen button and union jack.

 It was exciting to see the celebration's in England, what a great party.
