Turning back the clock

I brought this small print floral 80's dress in a wee op-shop and the print was so familiar that it has been bugging since. After ironing it this morning I decided to look at some old photo's and yes there it was, 1992 a dress I had 20years ago. Eeeeek I am not sure where that leaves me if I told you it was a vintage dress. Maybe it was a wake up call since another birthday is not to far away.
OK moving on, this the absolutely amazing leather 70's handbag I brought in my favourite town in Southland, Riverton. It was the amazing tooled tree design that made me gasp.
Oh the bag and the dress were from the same shop, sorry I was so happy with these finds I forgot the name.
OK time to re-set the clock!
love V

  1. That print looks very familiar to me, too. I used to have a TopShop midi skirt with a big gold buckle at the waist I wore to a wedding in 1990.
Love how you've styled it and as for that bag? I'd have squealed with delight if I'd found it. x

  3. That bag is gorgeous. Funny how it triggered your memory and you had the identical dress. I won't mention how old I was in 1992 ha ha. xx

  5. That's so funny! It still amuses me that 80s/90s stuff is considered vintage...
The print on the dress is gorgeous, you look lovely as always, and I'm loving that little flash of petticoat!
The bag, oh good lord, the bag. It's the BEST bag ever. It really is!
